I've been drawing deckplans for Traveller starships since the mid-80s; my style of late has been heavily influenced by Rob Caswell's deckplans for Digest Group Publications.
Broadsword
The original deckplans for the Broadsword displace roughly 1400dT, rather than the 800dT of the design; these deckplans adhere more closely to the design.
A4
Danny Boy coming soon
The Danny Boy-class Mercenary Carrier is a variant of the Broadsword which has been adapted to carry two flights of light fighters plus a recovery launch instead of the usual troop complement.
Ploughshare coming soon
The Ploughshare-class Medium Transport is a Broadsword variant which has been fitted out as a merchant vessel.
Gallant
The Type Y Yacht is neither fast nor luxurious. The Animal-class safari ship is a yacht in all but name. The Gallant is my attempt at imagining the 200dT yacht of which the Animal is a specialised variant.
Beagle
In canon, the IISS operates four types of ship: the Type S scout, the X-boat, the Donosev-class and the X-boat tender. The Beagle is a more capable survey vessel than the Donosev, built on the hull of the X-boat tender.
Explorer
Andy Slack designed the Explorer-class scout for White Dwarf; I've redesigned it for MgT2e and drawn Caswell-style deckplans.
Nimrod
Nic Weeks introduced the Hunter-class bounty hunter ship in White Dwarf xx, and described it as a modified Type SN Scout. The Nimrod-class is my take on what the Type SN Scout looks like.
Tydeup
An armed transport, as seen in the Travellers cartoon in White Dwarf.
Gangue
The Gangue-class seeker was originally designed by Rob Caswell for the DGP book Manhunt: The Onnesium Quest, Vol. 1 . During the course of preparing it for belated publication, I redrew the plans and added my own flourishes.
These deckplans were all produced with Adobe Illustrator, using a symbol library that I've developed.
The title font is URW Globe Heavy , and the label font is Helvetica in various weights.
The 1.5m grid uses 1/4" squares (i.e. 1:236); the table below shows the scale if an A4 plan is printed on larger A-series paper.
